Nancy’s act was a show of defiance to the autocracy of this administration. It is the only thing standing between the Republic and the abyss. So, no, this isn’t the end of the Democratic Party, but the autocracy of Trumpism does mean the end to the Republican party. And not a moment too soon. Maybe they will find their long, meandering road back to Lincoln.
