Maybe a matter of semantics, but the most significant delineation between spirituality and religion is the personal stamp one places on one’s own spiritual beliefs regardless of the tenets of any organized/institutional beliefs, which I would submit is the essence of what religion, historically, has been. The growing SNR (spiritual, not religious)crowd, growing in numbers and popularity is indicative of this. But… maybe Einstein agrees with you!: “The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity.”
