I saw "The Last Dominio Tour" of Genesis and while the music was incredible and the light show and general spectacle were impressive, Phil Collins was barely able to keep it at a "C" level. Clearly, I knew it would be the last time I saw this band perform so I was willing to give Collins a mulligan because I had seen him perform so admirably in the past. It was worse with Ian Anderson and his 50th anniversary of "Jethro Tull" (though he was the only one there who had played in Tull in their heyday) because he could barely sing. Painful to watch. Steve Hackett formerly with Genesis is another story: he is an exceptional, brilliant maestro, even more so at this age. Ultimately it depends on the performer and what one expects.
