Fundamentalism comes in many forms. Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best: "certitude leads to violence." While atheistic fundamentalism is just as off-putting as religious fundamentalism, I have to agree with one of your respondents here who suggests that the latter is a more pressing problem as Christo-nationalism emergence is reminiscent of fascistic authoritarianism. Also, atheism has more speakers than the original Four Horsemen of the early 2000s, many of whom are female with a kinder, gentler voice. And yes you could write a book on it and in fact, I cover this very issue in my upcoming America's Next Great Awakening— the Convergence of Mysticism, Religion, Atheism & Science.
