Every day we hear “he could never do that”… then he does. Or is allowed to do by a complicit Senate who is afraid of his base. Also, here’s what you are forgetting: this president can’t afford to lose. The statute of limitations for his many alleged criminal behaviors will have lapsed by the end of his second term… so he has to stay in power. He was saying it was rigged last time— until he won. Can you imagine what he will do this time? Especially if there is a specter of a coronavirus to use as a ruse? And finally, don’t forget that for a long time already his base has been willing to allow him to suspend the election based on “______” (you fill in the blank— almost anything will do). Sadly that base as already yielded a thousand times to this autocrat. The majority of them think he’s a greater President than Lincoln. You think they won’t go along with whatever his story is? Strap yourselves in America. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
