Don’t be so sensitive, Steve. Eric did not say that. It’s a warning that others have made (Bill Maher, e.g., has been saying it for awhile and Trump has been parroting it) and it might even be applicable if Trump runs against someone else and loses. But trump would certainly use the “socialist/communist” tag if he were to break with all American traditions. And with as much as he has to lose, legally? Don’t bet it won’t happen.
